Véronique Torner, an entrepreneur and member of the Smile group's comex, was until now vice-president in charge of Responsible Digital at Numeum.

Take the organization towards a new ambition to shine and unite

At a time when digital is a major lever for transformation, Véronique Torner, the first woman elected to head the organization for a three-year term, intends to accelerate the impact of Numeum, a catalyst for the digital ecosystem in France.

As part of a strong collective, Véronique Torner has set herself three key priorities:

Territories: anchoring Numeum at the heart of territories as close as possible to economic players by strengthening our proximity to its members and capitalizing on the network of its 12 regional delegations;
Skills: by relying on companies and associations, fully meet the challenges of digital skills in France, by promoting an initial training program consistent with market needs, with a contribution to the inclusion of talent through continuing education and retraining;
Responsible digital : accompanying and supporting the development of a digital ecosystem on a trajectory of positive economic, social, societal and environmental impact on a European, national and local scale.

"Engager le numérique", Numeum's signature, will guide my mandate in all its components. We are France's digital professionals, and as such, we need to be at the heart of decision-making, whether economic or governmental, at a time when digital technology is transforming society. It is our responsibility to turn it into an economic, societal, social and environmental lever, where change must be understood as an opportunity and a chance to meet the challenges of the future. I will show all the determination necessary to make digital technology shine at all levels and help federate the French digital ecosystem.

An entrepreneurial background, a vision in touch with reality

Entrepreneur and member of the Smile Group's comex, Véronique Torner is behind Planet Tech'Care, a platform that connects companies and training providers wishing to make a commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of digital technology with a network of partners, digital and environmental experts, and co-organizes the Green Tech Forum trade show, the next edition of which will be held on November 21 and 22, 2023.

It's an honor to take on the presidency of Numeum, the leading organization in the digital ecosystem, and I'd like to thank all the directors for their confidence. I'm delighted to be strengthening my commitment to Numeum's impact, and I appreciate the importance of my mission to serve a collective committed to giving France the place it deserves in a positive-impact digital transition, driven by its companies and talents in all our territories

Parallel to this appointment, Numeum's Board of Directors has been renewed. Eight directors were appointed at Numeum's Ordinary General Meeting held on June 7: Olivier Cazzulo (Netsystem), Xavier Côte de Soux (Capgemini), Virginie Fauvel (Harvest Groupe), Beatrice Kosowski (IBM France), Charles Mauclair (Groupe SII), Gilles Mezari (Saaswedo), Galliane Touze (Berger-Levrault), Antoine Wattinne (Cegid).
