Privacy Shield: EU launches process to adopt adequacy decision on secure data flows

On December 14, the European Commission presented a draft adequacy decision for data exchanges between the European Union and the United States.

With this decision, the Commission considers that the safeguards proposed by the United States in the October 7, 2022 Order are sufficient.
