Numeric’Emploi: Numeum joins forces with France Travail to accelerate employment in digital professions
Paris, January 25, 2024 – As the leading professional organization for digital companies in France, Numeum has made training a priority to bridge the skills gap and thus meet companies’ recruitment needs. As a partner of the 6th edition of the digital professions week, Numeum has signed an agreement and made a commitment with France Travail to accelerate the deployment of its Numeric’Emploi professional retraining program nationwide.
An ambitious and innovative agreement to scale up digital talents
Created in 2016, Numeric’Emploi is designed to meet recruitment needs in digital professions. Building on its success and deployment in the Grand Est, Occitanie and Normandie regions, Numeum is partnering with France Travail to develop and adapt the scheme nationwide by 2025.
As part of this agreement, from the first quarter of 2024 and within the Grand Est, Normandie and Occitanie regions, France Travail and Numeum will work to enable people seeking employment or guidance to benefit from interviews with a professional recruiter from a digital company, as well as exchanges with France Travail advisors in order to benefit from guidance towards the right training and the most suitable job offers.
In addition, Numeum and France Travail are committed to boosting the attractiveness of the digital sector, supporting more job applicants into digital professions, for example through immersions, and improving training in digital skills to meet companies’ needs.
A real growth driver, the digital sector offers considerable potential for recruitment in the years to come. Retraining mechanisms will be key, and should account for over 40% of the people to be trained in the digital sector by 2030*.

“On the occasion of the “Semaine des Métiers du Numérique”, Numeum is pleased to announce the launch of a bold and ambitious partnership action plan with France Travail that marks a decisive turning point in the systemic approach to training and employment in the digital sector. This innovative plan, aimed at jobseekers, will be rolled out over the course of 2024. At the heart of this strategy is NUMERIC’EMPLOI, a matching system that has already proved its worth in the Grand Est region and will continue to be rolled out in the Occitanie and Normandy regions, with a view to nationwide implementation by 2025. This approach is characterized by a detailed assessment of the candidates’ level of qualification, coupled with the proposal of a personalized training plan, perfectly suited to the specific needs of each company. We are convinced that this initiative will make a significant contribution to the employment dynamic in France, while strengthening the competitiveness of our digital economy.”
