Numeum and CCI Alsace Eurométropole sign a strategic partnership to boost the region’s attractiveness
Raising awareness of the challenges of digital transformation among business leaders
This strategic partnership will enable Numeum and the CCI to set up a program to raise awareness and mobilize business leaders to accelerate the digital transition, a current and future challenge for the companies that will now be supported by Numeum and the CCI.
Since 2021, the CCI has supported more than 930 companies in their digital transformation, and 350 companies have already benefited from a digital maturity diagnosis in 2023, along with assistance in developing their projects.
The awareness-raising program run by Numeum and the CCI will address a number of fundamental issues, including the challenges of digital transformation and the main uses that facilitate this transition, the strategic alignment and resilience of the company’s information system, the challenges of energy transition and digital sobriety (Green4IT and IT4green), and the impact of socio-cultural changes and new working practices.
On this occasion, the CCI has become an ambassador for Planet Tech’Care in Alsace, a Numeum initiative designed to support companies wishing to integrate digital technology into their environmental strategy.
Boosting Alsace’s digital industry
The main aim of this partnership is to combine the expertise of Numeum and the CCI to boost the local digital sector, which boasts some 1,400 establishments, many of them very small businesses.
A number of initiatives will enable them to benefit from the services offered by the CCI and Numeum, and encourage them to develop their digital skills. In particular, a training program will enable managers and executives to enhance their skills in order to support companies in their duty to advise their customers on the issues surrounding digital uses, responsible digital, cybersecurity and information system resilience.
Facilitating recruitment in digital professions
This partnership will also facilitate the recruitment of talent in the digital professions through joint initiatives (workshops, conferences, etc.) and the promotion of the Numéric’Emploi Grand Est scheme.
Created by Numeum and managed by an association recognized as being in the public interest, alongside the trade union and partners such as the Région Grand Est and Pôle Emploi Gand Est, its aim is to meet companies’ recruitment needs by supporting jobseekers and people undergoing professional retraining in digital professions.
There are around 1,500 vacancies in the digital sector in Alsace every year, while there are around 1,200 jobseekers in this field. The implementation of individual adaptation and skills development plans managed by Numéric’Emploi is therefore essential to meet companies’ skills needs and offset the talent shortage.
CCI Campus, the CCI’s training organization and a major player in continuing education in Alsace, training over 8,000 people a year, has also become a signatory to the Planet Tech’Care manifesto, and will be incorporating the theme of the environment and eco-responsible digital technology into its training courses.
