With +1.9% growth compared to December 2024, employment in startups in France has grown steadily over the first two months of the year. The pace is almost double that of the first two months of 2024.
All regions are participating in this dynamic, again led by Ile-de-France (59% of jobs created in January-February), followed by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Digital startups (IT Services) lead the way in job creation (+1,578), but Greentech continues to grow faster (+2.3% over two months).
For 2025, the Numeum / Motherbase barometer of startup employment in France is based on employment data from a sample of nearly 15,000 startups.
