Digital diversity sector plan signed

Syntec Numérique, a signatory to the plan, is delighted with this new stage. This plan is a lever for mobilization and action to promote gender equality within the digital sector, thanks to the joint determination of public authorities and the private sector.

Promoting gender diversity in the workplace is a key factor in achieving gender equality. The goal is to have one-third of jobs mixed between men and women by 2025.

Today, digital technology is a booming sector and a formidable lever for economic and social transformation, which cannot do without the new talents and driving forces represented by women.

The plan for gender diversity in digital professions, signed on January 31, 2017, commits each of the signatories to implementing concrete actions to ensure that more and more women move into digital professions and work within this sector, particularly in technical professions that still too often tend to be considered masculine.
