TheTrophée excellencia rewards twelve women in the digital world
With the aim of promoting careers in the digital sector among young women, theTrophéeexcellenciabrought together almost 400 people. Despite the sector’s dynamism in terms of employment and growth, and the numerous actions taken by the union and the commission, women are still under-represented in the ecosystem.
In her speech, Axelle Lemaire reiterated the driving role played by women in the digital republic, her support for gender diversity in the sector and the promotion of female entrepreneurship.
Femmes du Numérique, in partnership with Markess, presented the results of its survey on professional equality, aimed at comparing the situations of women and men in Syntec Numérique member companies. The study reveals that women represent only 27% of the current workforce.

Claude Terosier, founder of Magic Makers, Angélique Berge Gérard, Director of Subscriber Relations at Free, and Emmanuel Davidenkoff, Editorial Director of L’Etudiant, shared their experiences on stage and presented the trophies to the winners.
Winners of the 2015 excellencia Trophy
Entrepreneur” prize: business start-ups in the digital sector
Laura Fort, Studio PixMix: innovative video game startup based on the latest neuroscience research. The studio produces and publishes the cognitive development mobile app Debout Ludo. Laura Fort is the studio’s managing director, and is committed to promoting the values of liberated enterprise.
Thanks to the Trophy, she will benefit from four months of technical and marketing acceleration, legal assistance and personalized coaching sessions.
Association” award: volunteer involvement in the digital sector
Cécilia Lejeune, Virtual Association: the first student association dedicated to sharing knowledge and organizing events around virtual reality. Her career as an engineer specializing in human-machine interfaces enables her to evolve on a daily basis in this innovative field, which is both technical and human.
As a result of this award, the association will be sponsored by a partner company for one year (skills and/or financial sponsorship); the winner will also benefit from personalized coaching sessions.
Student Scientists” prize: a springboard for young women, with the aim of highlighting their professional projects
Ten schools contributed to this second edition, offering ten students, selected on the basis of their applications, a full tuition.
