This mobilization echoes Syntec Numérique’s investment in the Alliance for the Industry of the Future, carrying the homonymous plan, a pillar of the second phase of the New Industrial France, announced on May 18 by Emmanuel Macron.

Syntec Numérique has decided to invest heavily in the ambitious “Industry of the Future” plan launched by the French government, notably by forming an alliance with other professional organizations, schools and R&D centers.

Concrete proposals include three emblematic actions:

  • Raising awareness of digital transformation among more than 15,000 companies, and supporting 2,000 SMEs and industrial SMEs in their modernization projects.
  • The creation and promotion – by the end of 2016 – of more than 15 emblematic projects on a national or even European scale.
  • The deployment of technology platforms accessible to manufacturers throughout France.

This involvement requires the mobilization of Syntec Numérique members and its ecosystem. The “Industry of the Future” Committee has been set up to lead future work and interface with the alliance.

Syntec Numérique supports the digital transition of companies, particularly in traditional industries, as a fundamental issue for their modernization and competitiveness,” explains Maurice Ricci, chairman of the new committee. We call on all companies to mobilize, as well as all players in the ecosystem (professional organizations, ministries, local authorities and politicians), to transform declarations of principle into concrete action! This plan and this alliance respond to this desire, and we welcome them. This committee must be the voice and spearhead of digital technology and its deployment in industrial SMEs and ETIs”.
