The European standardization strategy published by the European Commission on February 2, 2022 sets the course for asserting the European Union’s sovereignty in the development of standards at European and global level.

Faced with increasing international competition, how can Europe regain control of the standardization process, particularly in strategic areas? How can we make better use of the results of research and innovation projects, to enhance their value and achieve successful technology transfer through standardization?
