Francophonie Summit – Francotech
The XIXth Francophonie Summit will be held in France this year for the first time since 1991. On this occasion, to help “regenerate the French-speaking world” and give it new impetus, particularly in economic terms, President Sarkozy has called for an ambitious French-language business forum & solutions trade show to embody and stimulate this new dynamic, under the banner of innovation and sustainable development. Emmanuel Macron will pay a visit on October 3 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, accompanied by several heads of state and their official delegations of ministers, advisors and companies.
The event will bring together over 1,500 business people from the 88 OIF member/associate/observer states and some 20 other countries to promote their solutions, interact with their peers, customers, suppliers and partners, learn about the latest innovations from the French-speaking world, publicly discuss the strategic issues of our time (AI, energy and ecological transition, innovation financing, food security/maritime transport, etc.), and benefit from a broad media platform. Business France will also be organizing an innovation competition to recognize the best among them.
