Press’ Innov, the winning choice for recruiting young people with a passion for IT who are changing careers.
LaWeb@cadémie, a formula that echoes Press’ Innov’s corporate values
Based in Paris and Lyon, Press “Innov isan IT company specializing in content management solutions. On a daily basis, it supports its customers in their strategic challenges: managing complex data, enhancing existing content, creating new tools, the explosion of the Web, new reading terminals, creating applications…. In particular, the company has developed a new, innovative media monitoring and analysis service: News” Innov, which enables fast, clear analysis of media coverage of a news item in over 100 French-language publications. The company’s sales grew by +43% in 2013, and should reach 450 k€ in 2014.
For Pascal Cadet, Project Manager at Press“Innov, the useful and innovative concept of the Web@cademyfits in well with the company’s values: “Press” Innova hasconfidence in the future, and it’s in this spirit that we encourage a young person with a non-traditional background to develop his talents and skills alongside us.
“From the very first days, Nicolas adapted to our tools and working methods very simply. This enabled him to be extremely efficient for the first development tasks that fell to him. His lack of technical knowledge on very specialized aspects was not felt at all. I admire Epitech’s policy of making students very independent. His motivation and seriousness make him a seasoned developer on whom we can rely. In fact, we’re now entrusting him with increasingly responsible tasks. There’s no doubt that the Web@cademyhas opened doors to the professional world for him, and as a tutor I’m proud to have been part of it.” The collaboration between the student and the company went so well thatPress‘ Innovadecided to take on a secondWeb@cademician a few months after Nicolas Vigneux’s arrival!
LaWeb@cadémie, quality training and a winning formula for professional integration
“After a year of practical, autonomous training at theWeb@cadémie, I acquired the skills needed to become a web developer,” explains Nicolas Vigneux, a student at the school on a professionalization contract withPress‘ Innov. “Thanks to this, I was able to start my second year of work-study at Press‘ Innovd underthe best possible conditions. My integration into Press’ Innov went very well, and the whole team made themselves available to support me and help me with the tasks assigned to me.
Pascal, my tutor, was a great listener, helping me to get to grips with and develop the different technologies used. He also taught me methods for managing and organizing around projects, and I’m now applying these techniques to my school work.”
To his great delight, Nicolas was quickly integrated into the company’s various projects, pushing him to take on responsibility and work rigorously to deliver his work on time. “I’ve made great progress at Press’ Innov, with projects that combine modernity and innovative technologies. Thanks to this experience, I’ve been able to get a taste of what it’s like to work as a web developer, which reinforces my motivation to persevere on this path and make it my profession.”
