For the third year running, Syntec Numérique is taking part in InnovativeCity, Europe’s leading trade fair for innovative, connected and sustainable cities. The professional chamber will be presenting the findings of its annual “digital city” barometer, designed to analyze the challenges of using digital technology to transform local authorities.

Today, digital technology is reinventing cities through new uses and services. Syntec Numérique has set up a“digital city” committeeto monitor local authorities’ projects in this area, andsince 2013 has been conducting an annual barometer survey of elected representatives and local authorities to measure the digital transformation of French urban areas.
Philippe Sajhau, Chairman of the committee, will preview the results of the 2015 barometer. This new wave lists projects conducted on the basis of three measurement systems:
- motivating cities to invest in digital technology
- monitoring of projects planned, underway and completed in ten key action areas
- governance and implementation of projects, including resources allocated, management and decision-making methods…
