Launch of a national assistance system for victims of cyber-malicious acts
At a press conference this morning, Louis Gautier, Secretary General of Defense and National Security, Guillaume Poupard, Director General of ANSSI and Thierry Delville, Ministerial Delegate for Security Industries and the Fight against Cyberthreats, announced the launch of the assistance scheme for victims of cyberthreats, which is being tested from June to October 2017 in the Hauts-de-France region.
The“Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr” platform is aimed at businesses, individuals and local authorities.
Its objectives are to:
- connecting victims with local service providers who can restore their systems,
- setting up prevention and awareness campaigns on digital security, and
- the creation of a digital risk observatory to anticipate digital risks.
To meet these objectives, the “ACYMA” public interest group, of which Syntec Numérique is a founding member, was set up to enable the financial and operational involvement of public and private players.
