Franco-Spanish cooperation: Syntec Numérique joins forces with AMETIC to develop the industry of the future in Europe
The “Industry of the FutureSyntec Numérique’s “Industrie du Futur” Committee for France, and AMETIC’s “Industrie 4.0 Commission” for Spain, are beginning their cooperation by setting up regular exchanges around best practices and experiences on the subject of digital transformation of industry. Cross-participation in meetings of the respective “Industrie du Futur” bodies is also being organized.
The two associations have already agreed on the modalities of their cooperation, with the establishment of a collaborative platform (already operational) and a work schedule. The identification of common objectives and challenges at national and European level will soon be launched. Study tours are also planned, with the aim of gaining an insight into concrete examples of Industry of the Future achievements in different benchmark industrial regions – in France and Spain.
” Digital transformation is a key response to the current and future challenges facing our industries. It’s vital that companies of all sizes get to grips with the issue and start evolving now. Our mission is to provide business leaders, particularly SMEs and ETIs, with the tools and support to help them make strategic choices and implement their approach in practice”, explains Paolo Del Noce, Chairman of Syntec Numérique’s “Industry of the Future” Committee.

“We are living through an exciting change; the possibilities of the digital economy demand a more competitive, flexible and responsive industry. This is an excellent opportunity to capitalize on European technology and talent, which should be more united and interconnected than ever if the EU is to be strong in global markets. In this context, France is a key strategic partner for us, and we are delighted to be working with Syntec Numérique, adds Verónica Pascual Boé, Chair of AMETIC’s Industry 4.0 Committee.
