France Numérique 2017: putting digital at the heart of the presidential campaign

Syntec Numérique, ACSEL, Cap Digital, FEVAD, France Digitale, Renaissance Numérique, SNJV, Systematic Paris-Region and Tech In France announce the creation ofFranceNumérique 2017, the collective action that brings together players in the digital ecosystem (associations, think tanks, professional federations, competitiveness clusters, etc.).

The collective’s aim is to raise awareness among political parties and candidates in the 2017 presidential election of the challenges of digital technology, and the leverage it represents for employment and economic growth in France.

The joint platform will send a questionnaire to the candidates declared for the presidential election, asking for their proposals on five digital-related themes.

Throughout the campaign, the joint platform will be responsible for posting responses online, and will enable web users to compare the positions of the various candidates.
