Energy sobriety emergency: the Convergences numériques collective answers the Government’s call and mobilizes the digital sector
These recommendations, which can be put into action as early as this winter, are designed to contribute to the goal announced by the French President of reducing energy consumption by 10% compared with 2019 levels by the end of 2023.
In this way, the sector is assuming its responsibilities in the current energy crisis, in order to reduce the electricity consumption of digital infrastructures and equipment at times of peak demand.
In addition to these measures, Convergences numériques is launching an appeal to all companies offering solutions to reduce energy consumption this winter in all economic sectors. Indeed, the digital sector is one of the main levers for making a positive and significant contribution to energy sobriety in other sectors.
Startups, VSEs, SMEs, ETIs and large groups can now join the directory of the Planet Tech’Careplatform , whichwill be presented to the Government to help all our companies contribute to the collective effort to reduce energy consumption in an unprecedented context.
