CIGREF and Syntec Numérique renew their partnership to develop relations between digital SMEs and major French groups
According to the results of Syntec Numérique’s 2014 SME / ETI barometer, relations between these two types of players are indeed unsatisfactory: 75% of companies (SMEs/ETIs) have difficulty entering into relationships with new key accounts, notably because of their restrictive purchasing policies, denounced by 90% of the panel surveyed.
The challenges of this new cooperation are to
- bring together major companies and their suppliers to promote dialogue and mutual understanding,
- develop their economic performance together, by reconciling mass purchasing, agility and the preservation of the “digital SME” ecosystem.
This partnership reflects the ambitions set out in CIGREF’s recently published book “Entreprise 2020 à l’ère numérique, ses enjeux et défis”. The digital transformation of companies implies an ability to take more risks, shorten decision-making cycles, work with SMEs and start-ups in a “French Tech” spirit, and loosen the stranglehold of referencing.
CIGREF and Syntec Numérique would like to work together to promote mutual understanding of the needs of SMEs, CIOs and Purchasing departments, disseminate the set of practices recommended by Pacte PME, and adapt procedures and rules of the game in favor of SMEs.
