Femmes du Numérique and Pasc@linedunveil the nominees for the Trophée excellencia 2015
For the second edition of the “Trophée excellencia”, organized by Syntec Numérique’s Commission Femmes du Numérique and the associationPasc@line, 79 applications were received in three categories. The twelve winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday September 29, in the presence of Axelle Lemaire, French Secretary of State for Digital Affairs.
With 12,000 net jobs created in 20141, 35,000 new hires every year, 93.7% permanent contracts and 68.9%2 management positions, the digital sector is an attractive and innovative vector, brimming with talent and projects that are driving France’s future. Despite this potential, the sector suffers from a shortage of candidates, particularly among the younger generations and women.
The aim of the Trophée excellencia is to encourage young women to go into the digital sector, in order to broaden their career opportunities and reveal female talent in the sector. This year, ten Syntec Numérique member companies are contributing to the campaign, as well as ten schools, enabling ten selected future female students to be offered their studies, alongside the two winners who will be rewarded in the “Entrepreneur” and “Association” categories.
The projects submitted were examined by a jury, headed by Véronique di Benedetto, President of Femmes du Numérique, and Christian Colmant, General Delegate ofPasc@line.
