Mr. Stavrinides: More and more, we’re becoming part of project teams, or even leaders of certain projects. For example, we’re involved in all stages of the contract life cycle, and we’re gaining a better understanding of the customer’s issues. In this way, we have an opinion, a vision of the contract that enables us to accompany the sales teams beyond mere legal negotiation, to go beyond this stage and intervene as advisors in order to bring them added value and facilitate their work. We have developed “playbooks”, scripts to support legal teams in contract negotiation. We study all innovations such as contract automation, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and many others, to see how they can facilitate our work, minimize low value-added tasks in order to free up time for higher value-added projects. For example, our legal department is taking part in a corporate project, the Digital Office project. This involves managing the entire customer experience chain – from the offer to contractualization, invoicing, management of the subscription contract, renewal and so on. Thanks to the work of our European legal teams, we were able to make contract automation a priority for this project.
In conclusion, I believe that digital technology makes our daily work more interesting!
