With the support of numerous partners, including the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the French Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research, and the Paris City Council, this exceptional event aims to highlight the opportunities offered by digital technology in terms of employment, growth and creativity. A number of key figures are expected to attend the event.

In 2016, the digital sector in France generated 19,000 net jobs and recruited 47,000 new staff, while the number of startups created rose by 30% between 2012 and 2015. Startups, investors and companies in the sector will be highlighting this dynamism at the event, with the aim of mobilizing the French, and young people in particular, around digital technology and its professions.

The program for this major event will focus on 5 main themes:A full day to discover the potential of digital technology in France

  • Get informed : discussions and conferences

Come and discover the jobs of tomorrow, the training courses to follow, the skills currently in demand on the market, and the possibilities of moving abroad… through meetings with companies in the sector.

Digital professionals will be presenting their businesses through keynotes and use-oriented demonstrations : artificial intelligence (by Capgemini, IBM), smart cities (by Orange NRS, Vedecom), augmented reality (by Keyrus and Histovery), blockchain… These are just some of the key topics in the industry today, which will be discussed at conferences.

Investors, as well as France Digital in a dedicated conference, will be giving advice on how to set up a startup project.

Startups and innovative companies will have access toa village structured into “neighborhoods ” (B2C offers, B2B offers and robotics / IOT) to present their projects to the digital community. Companies with the most visual projects (robotics, drones, virtual or augmented reality, etc.) will also be able to demonstrate their solutions live in the central ring.

  • Challenge yourself by taking part in one of the three Day-Click contests

The Day-Click ChallengeThe Day-Click Challenge: a competition reserved for young start-ups exhibiting in the Innovation Village. Beforehand, the jury will select 3 finalists in each category (B2C offers, B2B offers, robotics / IOT). These finalists will then battle it out in the central ring. These “battles” will be 3-minute pitches presented live to a jury of professionals and the public, who will vote to elect the winners.

The excellencia TrophyThe Trophée excellencia: an award ceremony for 9 female students at bac/bac+2 level, with the aim of breaking down stereotypes and demonstrating the attractiveness of the professions offered by the sector. The lucky winners will receive funding for their studies (at an engineering school) and a personal coaching session.

Challenge écoles: a competition open to students from the 20 universities and schools exhibiting at Day-Click. Students from each school will have to present their establishment in an original way, using tools that are as innovative and attractive as possible. A far cry from traditional career fairs, the public will be able to get up close and personal with the training courses and atmosphere of each school in a fun and dynamic version. A jury will reward the most inventive school.

  • Recruit and find a job: thousands of Job Dating organized

Open-ended contracts, fixed-term contracts, work-study schemes, internships…Over 10,000 appointments and over 5,000 positions to be filled! Spontaneous 6-minute interviews with over 100 influential and dynamic companies with vacancies in the digital sector.

  • Training: a space for personal development

Practical advice: how to present yourself in 3 minutes? How to dress? How to make the most of internships? The keys to interpersonal skills in the workplace and during a job interview? How to handle hierarchical relations? How to draw up a business plan and find financing for your start-up project? … Professionals will give you the keys to better integration and development.

Enhance your profile: your CV and profile photo can be taken on site by a professional photographer, who will advise you on how to look your best! The royalty-free photo will then be sent free of charge by e-mail.

E-reputation: practical advice on how to highlight your skills and experience on your Linkedin and Viadeo pages and optimize your CV, as well as how to launch a YouTube channel and develop your e-reputation.
