The trade association is once again mobilizing to make digital a genuine national priority, and to call on the candidates in the presidential election.

The need for political impetus to transform local authorities

Digital transformation is already a reality for the French, in their communications, purchasing and business activities. Local and regional authorities must also embrace it if they are to continue to respond effectively to the expectations of their users.

Aware of the tremendous opportunities that digital technology can represent for them, Syntec Numérique members have mobilized, notably within the City Committee, to formulate proposals aimed at both elected officials and administrations, to enhance the value of digital technology at all levels of local government.

“The digital transformation of our territories can enable France to be at the forefront of a new quality of life model, integrating digital technologies, that is intelligent, sustainable or” smart “. To achieve this, we need to promote the exemplary projects and best practices of our local authorities, both nationally and internationally. We need to encourage our elected representatives to embrace digital technologies and make their territories exemplary in terms of public service to users”, comments Godefroy de Bentzmann, President of Syntec Numérique.

“Local authorities are becoming increasingly agile when it comes to implementing their projects. Digital companies are at the cutting edge of new technologies, adapted to rapidly changing uses, and many are already working to support public authorities in their aspirations. This cooperation is the key to the digital transformation of our territories”, concludes Godefroy de Bentzmann, President of Syntec Numérique.
