The Syntec federation and its unions, including Syntec Numérique, have put forward 8 proposals for a new development policy. More ecological and more humane, this new policy will result in a better distribution of the fruits of growth throughout the country.
- Promote. Promote teleworking, and the technological means that make it possible (digital solutions, uniform and inclusive digital coverage of territories), as vectors for reducing territorial fractures, combating transport congestion and reducing the carbon footprint.
- Encourage. Encourage companies and public authorities to draw on their local ecosystems and develop mutual aid and exchange structures outside metropolises, such as third places or coworking spaces, in order to stimulate creativity, encourage collaboration, break the isolation sometimes associated with telecommuting, and create local employment.
- Stimulate the local economy by implementing a responsible purchasing policy in line with a virtuous travel logic.
- Thinking. Rethink training to strengthen social cohesion, attractiveness, innovation and regional competitiveness: promote the sustainable integration of young people into employment, in line with business needs; encourage skills development, whatever the status, to protect and support all employees in the face of rapid economic change.
- Promoting. Through our businesses, we promote the development of “region-shore”, i.e. a local presence, among our stakeholders, particularly in supporting our customers.
- Working. Working with local authorities to model new employment areas, our service businesses being one of the essential links in a strategy to reindustrialize territories.
- Promote. Encourage greater complementarity of action between the satellite structures of local authorities (semi-public companies, local public companies, etc.) and private companies (engineering, digital, etc.) in the service of local development.
- Develop. Develop retraining programs and support for job changes and transformations. In particular, promote Numéric’Emploi (set up by Syntec Numérique) at national level, with regional councils and Pôle Emploi regional departments, and create a Numéric’Actif program at national level, involving the digital sector and integrating the GPEC issues of large companies ready to commit to this scheme.
