Paris, February 20, 2013 -Like the rest of the French economy, the digital ecosystem lacks mid-sized companies (ETIs) capable of conquering international markets. To help these companies emerge, technology partnerships represent a formidable growth vector. It was with this in mind that Syntec Numérique, in partnership with Neuflize OBC*, came up with the “Syntec Camps”, a series of collaborative meetings designed to help players in the ecosystem develop by sharing best practices and business opportunities.
Technological alliances are at the heart of digital companies’ strategies, and concern all sectors. Today, the digital ecosystem represents an essential competitive lever for companies, and offers small structures a central place in its value chain. By enabling technological partnerships to be forged between major groups and start-ups, Syntec Numérique is making a further contribution to the growth of French digital companies.
The “Syntec Camps” are based on a simple principle: perspectives and challenges in a given technological field presented by recognized experts, testimonials from successful partnerships, and collaborative workshops to explore all facets of a partnership in a given field. The morning’s objective is to work with all participants to draw up a roadmap of best practices and points to watch to ensure the success of your technological alliance.
Based on this model, the first edition of the “Syntec Camps” was held on Tuesday February 19, focusing on mobility. Nearly 70 participants exchanged ideas and worked on the various aspects of mobility partnerships: strategic vision and innovation, types of partnerships, legal aspects, marketing, intellectual property of developments, industrialization of the offer… On each topic, clear advice emerged on how to anticipate all the keys to a successful technological partnership: from know-how transfer to contractual exit conditions, not forgetting the type of exchanges possible between large and small structures.
Two further mornings are already planned on Cloud Computing and Big Data, on April 16 and October 16, 2013. This cycle will be punctuated by a major event in early July to highlight the most emblematic partnerships.

“Through these collaborative meetings, we aim to make the “Syntec Camps” a key event in the ecosystem, focusing on technological partnerships. This is a key condition for creating the champions of tomorrow,” asserts Bruno Vanryb, President of Syntec Numérique’s publishers’ college, who initiated the project.

“For any small company, forming a partnership with a large organization is a major opportunity to develop its technology, and acquire skills and renown. It was only natural for Syntec Numérique to get involved in this project,” adds Thibaut Bechetoille, director of the professional organization.
