Jumeau Numérique A major lever in the digital transformation of industry

Numeum is a founding member of the Alliance Industrie du Futur and a pillar of the “Solutions industrie du Futur” cluster.

The Digital Twin Technical Committee of the Alliance for the Industry of the Future is co-directed by Oliver Scart (DS/Numeum) and Ariane Piel (CEA List). This work is the fruit of joint efforts with all AIF members (industry professional organizations, academic partners, technology centers and corporate funding bodies), to develop a common vision of the Digital Twin.

The Committee has set itself a number of milestones, the first of which has been achieved with a clear and concise collegial definition of the Digital Twin, accompanied by a mapping of industrial use cases.

This publication provides the first comprehensive overview of the penetration of this concept in French industry, and presents the expected benefits of using such a tool.
