Syntec Numérique at the World Electronics Forum in Angers
The World Electronics Forum (WEF) took place in Angers from October 24 to 28, alongside Connected Week. Syntec Numérique took part on Friday October 27, alongside digital and electronics professionals, to discuss the major challenges facing the sector in the months ahead.
For its 22nd edition, the World Electronic Forum (WEF) was held for the first time in France, and for the second time in Europe. Discussions between industry professionals got underway on Tuesday October 24, first in Paris, then in Fontevraud.
From Thursday October 26, the Théâtre Le Quai in Angers welcomed professionals and exhibitors to present their innovative projects. Numerous start-ups, most of them from the region, were also present in a dedicated area.
The participation of Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, Secretary of State for the Digital Economy Mounir Mahjoubi, and Secretary of State to the Minister of the Economy and Finance Benjamin Griveaux, demonstrated the attention the Government is paying to the digital sector. In particular, the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s objectives in terms of investment, support for industrial sectors, digital coverage of the territory and dematerialization.
Laurent Baudart, General Delegate of Syntec Numérique, reminded the audience of the union’s commitment to the main current debates: the data economy, lifelong learning and new technologies.
