CBOD study presentation

This questionnaire is part of a“Cloud Based Organizational Design” (CBOD) research project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), and involving teams from INRIA, Université de Paris-Sud and Telecom ParisTech.

Its aim is to study how companies are embracing CloudComputing solutions, in terms of practices, business models, governance of these technologies, and so on. It is divided into two parts, depending on whether the company is marketing CC solutions (supply) and/or using them (demand).

Consisting of around 30 mostly closed questions, the questionnaire takes just ten minutes to complete. All responses will remain strictly confidential and anonymous. The results of this survey and of the CBOD project will be made available to contributors when they are released.

Some specific features of the survey

This is the first survey on cloudcomputing tomap supply and demand for these services. In particular, it aims to characterize the interdependencies between the purchase of virtualized infrastructures and the production of software for wider audiences; the idea being to understand how companies are consequently changing their internal organization and favoring agile approaches.

The survey also investigates the emerging role of labels and certifications in the structuring of the French cloud market, a subject little addressed in Anglo-Saxon literature, and for which there are no quantitative studies in French-speaking research.

A restitution of the survey results will be organized forSyntec Numérique members on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 9am to 10:30am.
