The RNS 2026 Reports: A Key Milestone in the Digital Ecosystem’s Collaborative Effort
Following the resounding success of the third edition of the Strasbourg Digital Conference (RNS) in April 2026, Cigref and Numeum are proud to announce the official publication of the RNS 2026 Proceedings, the reference document that compiles the contributions of our community.
The RNS – Concrete Commitments at the European Level
The RNS 2026 brought together nearly 200 leaders and decision-makers at the European Parliament around a bold ambition: to define a common path forward in the face of major technological, economic, and geopolitical transformations. The richness of our work stems from the diversity of experiences and responsibilities represented there. Our goal is not to seek ad hoc consensus. Rather, it is to foster concrete commitments. Cigref and Numeum share a strong conviction: our collective action can only be meaningful and effective at the European Union level. It is at this macroeconomic level that major regulations governing the development and use of digital technologies are forged, and that the digital competitiveness and resilience of businesses and public administrations are built. Faced with the American and Asian blocs, none of our organizations can go it alone. It is at this cost—and on this scale—that the conditions for our future prosperity will be forged.

Key Takeaways from the RNS 2026 Reports
This report embodies our collective commitment by presenting immediately actionable commitments from the digital ecosystem. Developed through 10 collective intelligence workshops, this guide offers actionable recommendations centered on key strategic areas such as rising technology costs, pressure on skills and their evolution in the age of AI, and the need for resilience—all challenges we face collectively.
It is through a framework of economic collaboration within our ecosystem—particularly between digital companies and user organizations—that we drive one of the main forces behind the functioning and dynamism of our continent’s economy. It is in this spirit of teamwork that these Strasbourg meetings take place, and that is why they are a pivotal moment for fostering our ecosystem. It is also in this spirit of teamwork that the French Digital Team was created, many of whose members and partners were present in Strasbourg.
