Freelancers and freelance administration: ESNs adapt to the job market

Techtalks is the first installment in our series on the future of digital businesses, exploring the movement affecting freelance workers.

Digital companies, particularly ESNs, regularly see some of their teams leave to work independently. These freelancers remain close to their former employer’s business sector. Solutions are therefore available to keep these vital forces within their fold, thanks in particular to innovative “portage salarial” solutions. ESNs are adapting to this trend.

Portage salarial is becoming more and more popular, as it limits the risks for the company and gives the individual a degree of independence. In France, there are some 100,000 people working in the digital sector via “portage salarial” companies (EPS). On average, these companies generate sales of around 4.5 million euros.
