On September 18, the French President presented a wide-ranging reform of the healthcare system, with two major digital objectives:
- the development of a“package of integrated digital services”, with the start of deployment to professionals at the end of 2019, within a reinforced interoperability framework and based on a unique patient identifier” ;
- The creation of a“personal digital health space” for citizens who so wish. The first building block will be the DMP, with services to be added as and when required.
In addition, three major orientations have been defined to “ensure the ‘digital turn’ of the healthcare system.”
- provide useful services to users;
- develop the sharing of health information between professionals;
- take advantage of artificial intelligence […] while guaranteeing citizens a high level of personal data protection.
Syntec Numérique’s healthcare committee, with its three renewed working groups on connected healthcare, digital infrastructures and data /IA, is ready to make its full contribution to this far-reaching transformation.
