ANSSI, DGEFP and AFPA launch survey on career paths for cybersecurity professionals
Following on from ANSSI’s Panorama des métiers de la cybersécuritéédition2020, produced in close collaboration with Syntec Numérique, ANSSI and the Délégation générale à l’Emploi et à la Formation professionnelle (DGEFP – Ministry of Labor, Employment and Integration) have joined forces to propose a survey of professionals working in the field of digital security. This survey, entrusted to the Agence nationale pour la formation professionnelle des adultes (Afpa) as part of its national public service mission to provide a forward-looking view of professions, has three main objectives:
- Improve knowledge of professionals working in cybersecurity ;
- Identify their career paths and gather their perceptions of the job;
- Gain a better understanding of the employment environments of cybersecurity professionals and their sectors of activity.
Who are cybersecurity professionals? Career paths, missions, sector of activity, vision of the profession, access to training, career prospects, etc. These are all little-known elements that are essential to the development of the cyber ecosystem. The aim of this questionnaire, open until April 16, is to gather this information directly from the people most directly concerned, in order to produce a global overview for the benefit of all.
The results of this survey, which collects no personal data, will enhance the value of professionals working in the digital security sector, and will ultimately provide information on employment and training in this field. They will be returned to the community in aggregate form.
