The 3 priorities for the recovery: training, inclusion and responsible digital technology
In this particular context marked by Covid-19, the strategic axes defined by Syntec Numérique for the 2019-2021 period and the priority projects are more topical than everwhen digital must be put at the service of recovery:
- Training has become a major issue in the implementation of the recovery plan. On the one hand, the accelerated digital transition resulting from the crisis will require many employees to be brought up to speed. On the other hand, training and retraining also remain a major issue in the attractiveness of digital professions, in order to preserve the skills of those whom the crisis could leave without prospects.
- Regional inclusion: the digital transformation of our country will not happen without the support and backing of the regions. Syntec Numérique’s regional delegations, alongside their partners, work daily to develop digital professions in the regions and to reduce the digital divide.
- Responsible digital: Syntec Numérique is committed to reducing the sector’s environmental footprint through its Responsible Digital program, which aims to help digital players reduce their ecological footprint on the one hand, and shape digital technology to serve the environment on the other.
At the end of a round-table discussion on the lessons of the crisis and opportunities for businesses, Cédric O, Secretary of State for Digital Transition and Electronic Communications, also spoke about the recovery plan, the deployment of digital technology in society, and answered questions from the audience.
