The Digital Republic is not about turning inward

France is undergoing a veritable digital transformation, which is already evident in terms of employment. According toa study by Pôle Emploipublished in April 2016, employment in the digital sector grew four times faster than in the economy as a whole between 2009 and 2014: by 2.6% versus +0.6%.

But France could do even better! According to McKinsey, our country could gain an additional 100 billion euros in GDP per year, as early as 2020, if it were to accelerate its digital transformation, with the promise of more jobs in the process.
