“Raconte-moi le futur” (Tell me about the future): Syntec Numérique launches a major survey of French people to mark its 50th anniversary.

To mark its 50th anniversary, Syntec Numérique is launching a major campaign entitled “Raconte-moi le futur” (“Tell me about the future”). At the heart of the campaign is a major survey designed to gather French people’s views on their future and the place of digital technology in tomorrow’s society, as well as a number of unprecedented interviews with leading personalities.

An online quiz open to all

In June 2019, Syntec Numérique, a major representative of the digital sector in France, celebrates its 50th anniversary. In the run-up to this anniversary, the professional organization is launching a major public consultation.

Entitled “Tell me about the future”, the survey is available on the Racontemoilefutur.fr website and is aimed at all audiences. Respondents are assigned a digital profile at the end of the quiz.

From omnipotent robots and job destruction to flying cars and predictive medicine, digital technology is the subject of many fantasies, both pessimistic and progressive. Through this survey, Syntec Numérique aims to gather French people’s vision of the future: their fears, their fantasies, what they expect from technology…

The questionnaire, which deals with the digital transformation of our society, was drawn up with the support of a scientific committee and in partnership with IHEST, INRIA and SNCF.

The results will be made public on June 25, at Syntec Numérique’s anniversary party.

Politicians, artists and scientists also play the game!

In parallel with this survey, Syntec Numérique also questioned around 20 personalities from all walks of life about their vision of the future.

These videos will be shared on social networks over the coming weeks. Following the example of Fleur Pellerin, who

recently opened the ball, with a host of other guests including Bruno Solo, Jack Lang and Bernard de la Villardière.

“We’re proud to be celebrating 50 years of Syntec Numérique this year. Our sector has seen many changes over the last few decades, but one thing is certain: digital technology has never been as central to our lives as it is today. Beyond our companies, it permeates society, with certain fears and expectations inevitably taking shape. In order to gain a better understanding of how the French perceive tomorrow’s world and the innovations on the way, Syntec Numérique has launched this major consultation of the entire population. Whether in the fields of mobility, e-health, employment or the environment, the future must be written with our companies, and be in phase with the expectations of the French”, comments Godefroy de Bentzmann, President of Syntec Numérique.
