#MaSanté 2022: welcome legibility and visibility for digital healthcare

    On Thursday, April 24, the Minister of Health presented the 2019-2021 roadmap for digital healthcare, focusing on 5 directions:

    • Strengthen governance, with the creation of a ministerial delegation for digital health reporting directly to the Minister, and the transformation of Asip Santé into a digital health agency.
    • Intensify the security and interoperability of healthcare information systems, notably through the identification and authentication of healthcare professionals and users, and through the implementation of a national e-health surveillance service.
    • Accelerate deployment of core digital services: DMP, e-prescription, secure healthcare messaging, etc.
    • Deploy digital health platforms at national level: digital health space for users, digital service package for healthcare professionals, Health Data Hub.
    • Support innovation and encourage the commitment of players, with in particular a roadmap to support the medico-social sector in the digital shift, the creation of a one-stop shop for digital innovation in healthcare and the setting up of a network of 3.0 care establishments to test innovations.

    Each of these actions is accompanied by a timetable for deployment by 2022.

    Syntec Numérique’s healthcare committee is delighted with the announcement that the governance of digital healthcare is to be strengthened, an essential prerequisite for steering the numerous digital projects and synchronizing the players involved.

    The clarification of the respective roles of public and private players, notably via the healthcare IS urbanization doctrine that will be put out to consultation in September, is also excellent news.

    Finally, the visibility provided by the deployment schedule for each action is essential to enable private players to plan ahead and build business models.

    The members of Syntec Numérique’s Health Committee will nevertheless be vigilant to ensure that the human and financial resources required to implement this roadmap are dedicated and consistent with the objectives announced.
