Our responses to the Conseil national du numérique’s national consultation on digital technology

Syntec Numérique supported and took part in this consultation, which proposed themes at the heart of our member companies’ businesses, expertise and issues, and hopes that it will form the basis for discussions on the digital bill.

This debate is at the heart of our children’s future, and will contribute to the creation of a more inclusive, better-connected society. To be successful, this consultation must nevertheless avoid the temptation of potential “consumer” orientations, take advantage of the concrete and flexible solutions proposed, and offer real solutions for digital companies, thanks to which all European and extra-European players will be able to benefit from a common protective legal framework.

Syntec Numérique is convinced that translating this virtual world into the real world depends on an approach that makes the most of technological developments in a single digital market that prioritizes innovation. In particular, this will require a sustainable, harmonized legal framework, whether in terms of data protection, e-education or the status of platforms, and a fierce determination to shift our software thinking towards innovation.
