Accelerating the digital transformation of the French state and local authorities: Syntec Numérique’s position and proposals

Over the past few months, digital technology has shown itself to be a vector for modernizing and simplifying public action, as well as a lever for reducing public expenditure. The government has made the modernization of public action one of its priorities for the next five years, but Syntec Numérique is drawing the attention of public authorities to the importance of :

• the need to enable local authorities to finance and invest in their digital transformation;
• the need for massive training in digital issues for agents ;
• equip local authorities and government departments;
• digitize the relationship with users of public services;
• develop a data culture within government departments.
