Syntec Numérique is organizing a major event for young people on June 4, with the aim of revealing the future talents of the digital industry and promoting its attractiveness. In the run-up to the event, high school and university students and all digital enthusiasts were invited to take part in a major competition onFacebookettalentsdunumerique.com.
120 projects were submitted and then examined by a jury of six leading figures from the digital world. At the end of the discussions, three nominees were selected in each category:
Business of tomorrow: a project that opens up new market prospects
- Musical jacket: a jacket that transforms movement into sound and allows you to embody music without a false note.
- Mutum.fr: the first website for lending and borrowing objects backed by a virtual currency
- MWallet.fr: providing retailers with a mobile promotions service accessible to all, thanks to geolocation and notification tools.
- Social networks: a “social” project that serves and connects people
- 1 day: an application that lets you quickly and easily share your day on video
- Meet Your City: creating a real-life social network, sharing and making it real
- www.donnez-recevez.com: barter site for baby and children’s clothes and toys. Quality exchanges between moms.
Digital technology: projects and technologies that are ahead of their time
- Live WSF: video/audio streaming system for less than a hundred euros
- NAVSAFE: self-powered maritime distress beacon that adapts its signal strength according to the situation of the shipwrecked person.
- Pretty Streets: never miss a great place to walk in the city again, thanks to an interactive map and innovative route planner
Utopia: ideas that make you dream… tomorrow may already be today!
- Handistrict: listing and describing establishments accessible to people with reduced mobility
- Listen&Drive: to overcome the visual handicap and enable blind people to drive vehicles, such as quads, autonomously on a circuit.
- Our five senses…to digital!:revolutionizing communications for a major global event by touching people through their five senses.
The winners of the competition will be rewarded on Wednesday June 4, at the “Les Talents du Numérique, sous les pavés le numérique” evening, and sponsored by Syntec Numérique directors to help them bring their project to fruition.
Two special prizes will also be awarded:
- People’s Choice Award for the I know U will le passeur de savoirs project, which received the most online votes, 3,421 (online votes cast between May 26 and June 2, 9:00 a.m.).
