“The software industry is strong in the Rhône-Alpes region, and we’re proud to have helped it gain even greater recognition with a specific study showing just how dynamic it is,” enthuses Laurent Baudart, General Delegate of Syntec Numérique.
“At LeClust’R Numérique, we believe that the strength of an ecosystem depends not only on the number of its members, but above all on the economic weight of its leaders. That’s why, over the past few years, LeClust’RNumérique has succeeded in federating 90% of the region’s ETIs and large digital SMEs, and why it has based its action plan on the capacity of its local ETIs to drive and trickle down economically to smaller SMEs. With this in mind, we have proposed to our partners, Syntec Numérique and EY, a regional version of the Top 250, the Top 40”.says Thierry Alvergnat, Managing Director of Clust’RNumérique.
“The analyses carried out in the Rhône-Alpes region highlight a number of specific features compared with the national panorama, and confirm the dynamism of the French software industry, which relies in particular on growth drivers such as SaaS, international expansion and innovation,”explain Jean-Christophe Pernet and Pierre-Emmanuel Passelegue of EY.
“This first Top 250 Rhône-Alpes panorama shows a fast-growing industry in search of cutting-edge skills to accelerate its development, either through recruitment or external growth. The study reveals a dynamic digital sector that is developing, recruiting and innovating… For LeClust’RNumérique, this Top 250 Rhône-Alpes heralds above all, in 2016, the setting up of a new Observatory of the sector on a Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne perimeter,”adds Jean-Paul Genoux, CEO of Dimo Software and treasurer of Clust’R Numérique.
