Creation of the “Embedded France” association
Created under the impetus of Dominique Potier’s report on Embedded Software 2013, commissioned by Arnaud Montebourg, Fleur Pellerin and Louis Gallois, the association’s ambition is to promote national reflection on the present and future challenges facing the sector in France and internationally.
Its position and missions are directly in line with the “New Industrial France” priorities announced by the French government on September 12.
Embedded France” missions:
- deepen knowledge of the sector with a view to the future
- make proposals to the French public authorities and European bodies for the development of its ecosystem
- optimize visibility and promotion of the embedded market and its players in France, Europe and internationally
- organize specific actions in liaison with French public authorities and European bodies
- open up the “traditional” embedded ecosystem to new technologies, players and markets.
“With the creation of “Embedded France”, we aim to extend and strengthen the French initiatives launched in 2007 by Syntec Numérique’s Embedded Committee and the Club des Grandes Entreprises de l’Embarqué (CGEE). Our aim is to represent this ecosystem and integrate emerging communities by rapidly involving them in our activities. “comment Agnès Paillard, President of the CGEE and Jean-Luc Chabaudie, member of the Comité Embarqué Syntec Numérique.
