Femme du Numérique” (Digital Woman) since the early 1990s, Hélène SARDIN has had the chance to witness and participate in the evolution of an exciting, constantly changing sector that transforms our public, professional and private lives every day.

Passionate about innovation and its financing mechanisms, and with a wealth of experience in digital companies of all sizes and types (software publishers, service and consulting companies), Hélène is currently CFO at Toulouse-based software publisher Squoring Technologies, a fast-growing start-up created in 2010.

Convinced that gender diversity is a major asset for business performance, Hélène is always enthusiastic about the idea of “moving the lines” by helping to make this sector, rich in opportunities, more attractive to women, and to promote their access to the responsibilities they deserve within companies.

Why get involved with Femmes du Numérique?

I’m involved with Femmes du Numérique because I’m convinced that women and the digital sector have a lot to offer each other. On the one hand, greater gender diversity is a source of wealth and performance for companies, and on the other, women have a lot to gain by investing in this promising sector, which offers qualified, exciting and diversified jobs.

What is your role in the Women in the Digital Economy Commission?

As Manager for the Midi Pyrénées Region, my role is to

  • publicize and relay Femmes du Numérique initiatives in the region
  • develop an ecosystem of partners committed to the themes supported by our Commission (gender equality, promotion of the sector among women), in order to implement and encourage new initiatives at local level.
