Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr: launch of the new digital risk awareness kit
One year after the release of the 1st part, the awareness-raising kit has been enriched with five new themes and four new formats, in a totally redesigned layout and content accessible to all.
This tool is aimed at all audiences, whether for professional or personal use, and whatever their knowledge of digital security. It aims to raise awareness and share best practices in personal use and, in a virtuous way, to improve professional use.
The awareness-raising kit covers nine themes, in a variety of formats: practical information sheets, videos, memos, but also – and this is one of the new features – interactive and fun formats: a comic strip, a poster, a quiz and, for the paper version, stickers.
Kit contains :
Six factsheets to help you adopt best practices:
- Passwords,
- Safety on social networks,
- Mobile device security,
- Backups,
- Updates,
- Security for personal and professional use.
Three factsheets to understand risks and take action:
- Phishing
- Ransomware
- The fake technical support scam
The novelty of this complete package also lies in the integration of new formats adapted to all audiences:
- Eight videos with case studies and examples,
- A quiz to test your knowledge,
- A comic strip on the theme of “safety on social networks”,
- Nine memos on the kit’s themes,
- A summary of the memos in poster format (A2),
- Stickers based on the comic strip for the paper version of the kit.
Released under an open license (Etalab 2.0) to enable the widest possible distribution, adaptation and reuse, the content has been designed to be used directly, to support training initiatives or to be integrated into existing or future initiatives.
The kit is available in electronic format as a free download from the cybermalveillance.gouv.fr website, at the following address: https://www.cybermalveillance.gouv.fr/contenus-de-sensibilisation/
“In addition to the technical tools needed to protect oneself, it is essential to raise awareness
rnafin order to evolve securely in our increasingly connected world. With
rnl the help of our public and private members, we have therefore identified the threats that our fellow citizens encounter on a daily basis, in order to explain
rnthe best practices for protecting against them, in a pragmatic and entertaining way. The strong choice of an open license
rnpermet par ailleurs à chacun d’adapter le contenu à son environnement spécifique.” declares Jérôme Notin, Director
rngénéral du dispositif Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr.
