Syntec Numérique signs the Paris Appeal for Cybersecurity

TheParis Appeal for Trust and Security in Cyberspace was presented at the Internet Governance Forum, organized as part of Paris Digital Week #ParisDigitalWeek.

This high-level declaration calls for the development of common principles to secure cyberspace, against a backdrop of increasing cybercrime, which threatens to destabilize both public and private institutions.

Syntec Numérique is one of the first signatories of this text, which has already received the support of numerous governments, companies and civil society organizations.

Supporters of the Paris Appeal are committed to working together to achieve this:

  1. increase prevention and resilience in the face of malicious online activity;
  2. protect the accessibility and integrity of the Internet;
  3. cooperate to prevent interference in electoral processes;
  4. to work together against cyber-based intellectual property violations ;
  5. prevent the proliferation of malicious cyber programs and techniques;
  6. increase the security of digital products and services, and “cyber hygiene” for all;
  7. take action against cyber-mercenarism and offensive actions by non-state actors;
  8. work together to strengthen relevant international standards.
