Like the rest of the digital industry, CINOV-IT and Syntec Numérique are all too often aware of the gap between large companies and SMEs in their digital transition. All companies, especially the smallest and most fragile, must be able to prepare for and implement their digital transformation. And they need support to do so.

Launched by the Government in 2012, the “Digital Transition” program needed to be adapted to better match the needs of VSEs and SMEs. Through a single platform, “France Num” aims to coordinate the public and private partners supporting the digital transformation of businesses and the economy.

CINOV-IT and Syntec Numérique contributed to the prefiguration of “France Num”, and the action plan, which includes the necessary mobilization and involvement of local authorities, is in line with the recommendations made by the two professional organizations:

  • Mapping the needs of small businesses
  • Identification and referencing of services on offer
  • Support systems based on existing experience
  • Adapted and simplified financing solutions
  • Promoting and raising awareness among local businesses

The two organizations will continue their commitment to making this tool for very small businesses as relevant and comprehensive as possible. They will do their utmost to promote it among their members.

For the second edition of the Syntec Numérique Tour, Syntec Numérique will be stopping off in 16 cities. The team and its partners will be hosting conferences on four topics that are at the heart of digital news, including the presentation of the France Num tool.

Alain Assouline, President of CINOV-IT, explains:  The subject of digital access for French VSEs and SMEs, and its urgency and importance, has so far suffered from a lack of mobilization. And yet, for the health of our businesses and for employment, there is a real urgency to get involved in this movement. We can therefore welcome the launch of France Num and its ambition. This new plan can count on the mobilization of the digital ecosystem represented by CINOV-IT and Syntec Numérique, allies in the field for its implementation.”

Godefroy de Bentzmann, President of Syntec Numérique, emphasizes: “The digital transformation of our VSEs and SMEs is a major challenge for the public authorities and for the competitiveness of our economy. It will depend on our collective ability to inspire VSEs and SMEs to seize this tremendous opportunity for growth and development. It is for this reason that CINOV-IT and Syntec Numérique have decided to join forces and work together on this issue.
