Green Tech Forum: November 5 and 6, 2024!

The fourth edition of the GreenTech Forum will be held on November 5 and 6, 2024 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. For the past 4 years, this event, dedicated to the Digital Economy and the Environment, has been a meeting place for all players involved or wishing to become involved in these issues.  

A not-to-be-missed event, GreenTech Forum 2024 will address the main topics of eco-responsible digital business, both GreenIT and IT for Green, including sustainability, equipment reparability, decarbonization, regulatory advances, the role of CIOs and the challenges of generative artificial intelligence.

GreenTech Forum: a meeting place for an ecological digital transition

GreenTech Forum, under the patronage of Planet Tech’Care, brings together professionals from all horizons to discuss best practices and innovations in responsible digital business. With 30 conferences, 30 workshops and a vast exhibition and networking area, this event enables participants to learn, train, exchange and discover concrete solutions for reducing the environmental footprint of digital technology or supporting the ecological transition of different business sectors.

Local authorities’ commitment to digital responsibility

The GreenTech Forum 2024 will also focus on the specific challenges facing local authorities. A number of key themes will be addressed, including how to get small and medium-sized local authorities on board with a Responsible Digital approach, the use of data and AI to anticipate and manage risks in territories, and the implementation of the REEN law to establish a Responsible Digital dynamic, with testimonials from local authorities.

Managing the end-of-life of digital equipment will also be a central focus, exploring how to initiate and foster the development of a circular economy in territories. In addition, discussions will focus on the role of data in the ecological transition, and on the state of the art of Open Source resources and tools available to local authorities.
