It amends a wide range of European texts, with the aim of continuing the efforts to simplify legislation begun under this mandate. The stated aim is to reduce compliance costs, facilitate the application of rules, support innovation and clarify the articulation between different digital legislations. The bill contains two separate regulations. The first, the digital omnibus, amends, consolidates and abolishes a series of existing laws governing the collection, processing and sharing of data in the EU. It forms the core of the Digital Omnibus and focuses on the following reforms. The second, the AI Regulation Omnibus clarifies and simplifies suppliers' obligations. In particular, it expands regulatory sandboxing possibilities and lightens technical documentation for SMEs. This document presents the main elements of this digital simplification package.","thumbnail_url":"https:\/\/numeum.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image.png","thumbnail_width":1140,"thumbnail_height":650}
